Posted by Nathan - in Guides

Today's world is full of television news shows that offers a lot of information that we can get 24 hours a day. Of course, this is mainly too much information sometimes and it seems as if there is a lot on there that is simply placed on the air for the sole purpose of taking up air time.

Because there is a great opportunity two turn on the television in find some sort of 24 hour news network, it would stand to reason that the online casino world would somehow create a video slot game center around these networks.

Microgaming has done just that with their Lucky News Network video slot game. This game is a 20 payline, 5 reel game centered around 24 hour news channels. Some of the symbols that you will encounter during play will be the broadcast units, charismatic reporters and anchors, and what new set would be complete without the studio crew?

What should the government do with the money from gambling tax?

Posted by Nathan - in Guides

People all over the world are beginning to see what benefits the casino industry can offer besides the ability to play with an attempt to win money. The huge account of tax dollars are being brought in by the government from the these operations, and now with the onslaught of more businesses being allowed to open online, the amount of tax dollars that can be brought in is exponential.

These tax dollars can help pay for pension funds and medical bills that are suffering and have the potential to suffer even further in the future. As long as there is total transparency from these governments on where this money is being spent even those who argue against gambling of any sort are beginning to recognize the benefits.

Many countries are already doing this and plan on providing more benefits for their senior citizens in the future. If the governments of the countries that do not allow gambling online would look at what they are missing, then there would be more countries that would begin allowing it. Of course, as stated, this would mean that the government would actually care about their citizens enough to do what it takes to get the money that is needed. The only way that this can really work though, is if these operations were ran by private industry and not by the government, at least in the United States.

It doesn't take long to figure out that there are a lot of deals to be had out there in the Internet world. It is not always a 'what you see is what you get' situation. Perhaps the most well known area in which you must truly pay attention to the advertising is with the online pokies sites.

Pretty much any online casino will offer amazing start up bonuses that seem too good to be true and this is reflected in their advertising. This is a situation where the Australian business is truly do offer what they say they will but it may not be offered in a way that you may understand upon first reading it.

When you go online to play the pokies games and you sign up for an account you will be offered the ability to except one of these bonuses. If it seems that the bonus is not as high as you thought it was going to be, it is most likely because a huge bonus is given to you upon several deposits and not just the initial one. Blame it on dumb luck!

Posted by Nathan - in Blog

Many people like to think they have all the answers when it comes to luck and how to make theirs better. Some people carry four-leaf clovers in the first, some people bet on their children's birthdays, and some people won't play without their lucky shirt on. However, unless you happen to be playing a strategic game like Texas Hold'Em or blackjack and you have practiced, you're going to have to rely on just plain dumb luck. So, does this mean you shouldn't play? Not necessarily, you simply have to know how long to play and when to stop, otherwise your opportunity for dumb luck goes out the window and your addiction sets in.

Luck is luck, regardless of whether it you are on a winning streak or a losing streak. You can't predict it and you can't force it. Sometimes it just appears when you least expect it and this is what many people call their dumb luck. This is the person who sits down at a nickel machine and wins the multi-thousand dollar jackpot. On the other hand, the poker player who knows how to strategically play his cards is waiting on Lady Luck to deal him the right hand. This is the difference between someone who plays occasionally and someone who happens upon a machine while on vacation.

Ultimately, in the world of gambling it doesn't matter whether it's dumb luck or Lady Luck, the bottom line is winning. If you're playing games of chance such as keno, roulette, or the slots you pretty much have to rely on any kind of luck. On the other hand, when you play games that you have actual input and that you make decisions, you influence your luck greatly, and at the same time you are also hoping for luck.
